The Maker’s House Chapel International REVEALED!!!

WOW!!!! What a feeling? What a church? What an experience? These awe-struck expressions kept darting in my mind as I sat in the loft of the MAKER’S HOUSE CHAPEL INTERNATIONAL last Sunday. No church gathering has been able to satisfy my appetence for quality until my visit to The Maker’s House Chapel. I got to the church almost an hour late(Oh come on!!! don’t judge me, I know you are guilty too) and I must be honest, this is one of the few times I have felt so bad missing praise and worship on a Sunday morning.  Just before the sermon was preached, there stood this gorgeous woman singing a hymn I have never heard but it really ministered to my soul. I immediately knew I missed out a great deal for not being present during praise and worship.

I was there for a reason. I was there to feed my curiosity. A couple of my friends had visited the church and in sharing their experience, I’ve always believed with no atom of doubt they were exaggerating because I couldn’t bring myself to the reality that a church gathering could be that first-rate. I’ve come to accept that most of these new churches lack genuine doctrine.

Just after the focal bible verse (Psalm 23) for the sermon was read, I knew I was in for a prosperity lecture, and that obviously resonates with the setting I find myself. After approximately 10 minutes into the sermon, my perception started to change. The preacher, Dr. Michael Boadi Nyamekye is a true disciple of Jesus Christ. I have never heard the gospel of Christ preached with so much modern relevance. I have known Psalm 23 from primary school, I never thought its first verse could mean so much to my life as a Christian. I began to realize how theology has limited the power of God in so many churches today. I could literally feel life in the word of God as the man of God preached. I was so ashamed of myself and the pre-formed perception I had about the church and the man of God.

Coming from a Presbyterian background, Communion Sundays will take forever. This wasn’t the case at the maker’s house chapel. Communion took less than 6 minutes. The whole service lasted for two hours and every fragment of it was satisfying and liberating for me. The ushering department is one of the best I have seen so far. Their mode of operations are like that of the secret service in the US. Lol! YES!! Really! The music felt too good that at a point I thought they were miming over a pre-recorded song when they started to sing this old tune at the end of the service – “STAND UP STAND UP FOR JESUS”

God deserves the best and I see that kind of quality in the eyes of the Dr. Boadi Nyamekye. After a hardworking week, we want to come to our creator in relief. We want to leave the church on Sunday morning with hope restored, faith uplifted, mental liberation, strength to carry on to do great things and primarily re-energized to live in the consciousness of our lord Jesus Christ. Church Gatherings shouldn’t be a religious gathering or a Sunday ritual. It should be Holy Spirit filled service, bringing freedom, reconciling humans to their source and resourcing Christians for the days, weeks, months and years ahead in wait for our master who art in the heavens.  Reading their mission statement this morning: “to bring awareness about God’s existence to people of all ages and encourage them to learn their own faith”, truly confirms my experience in their gathering yesterday.

It is my prayer that the church’s congregants will truly carry their cross daily and follow Jesus even as they worship in such a cozy ambience. Dr. Boadi Nyamekye is someone I’ve come to admire and I pray his flock given to him by God will listen to his directions as he is also being directed by our father in heaven. If I had the opportunity to make a wish today, this is what it will be:  to meet Dr. Nyamekye in person over lunch and have a personal interaction with the man of God. Quite impossible I guess. These men of God can be hard to find outside Sundays.

Till I come your way again, this was my experience at the Maker House Chapel International. My advise to anyone reading this article, Don’t be too quick to judge what you haven’t experienced for yourself.

DIVINE REVELATION SUPERSEDES HUMAN CALCULATIONS- Dr Randy Osae Bediako

13442341_409840112473183_3523138107988245055_n

According to developmental psychologist Howard Gardner P.hD (Harvard University) in his 1983 book, Frames of Mind, human Intelligence is broken down into nine different types namely; Naturalist (nature smart), Musical (sound smart), Logical-mathematical (number/reasoning smart), Existential (life smart), Interpersonal (people smart), Bodily-kinesthetic (body smart), Linguistic (word smart), Intra-personal (self smart) and Spatial (picture smart).
After reading the research finding of Gardner’s theory on multiple intelligence one thing kept me thinking and that is, his inability to discover the most important of all intelligences, the ultimate intelligence, What I call “SPIRITUAL INTELLIGENCE” but as I meditated on this I realised immediately that this intelligence can not be acquired from secular books or human academic institutions. It is not naturally given and so cannot be naturally discerned. This intelligence is not from this earth but from above and thus too high for the natural man to discover, comprehend or even appreciate.

This is the intelligence Adam applied when he was mandated to name ALL the livestock, ALL the birds of the sky, and ALL the wild animals on earth after creation. This same intelligence gave Job an “unschooled man” the ability to manage 7000 sheep, 3000 camels, 500 teams of Oxen, 500 female donkeys, a great number of houses & many servants. Isn’t it amazing how Noah constructed a fully compartmentalised ark that was 137.16 m X 450 ft long, 22.86 m X 75 ft wide, and 13.716 m X 45 ft high in dimensions, a masterpiece that was able to convey two of every kind of living thing on earth long before the advent of engineering. What about Daniel who was found ten times better concerning every matter of wisdom and understanding compared to all the magicians and enchanters in his whole kingdom. Have you ever wondered how Joseph came up with the conservative strategy that saved the entire world from starvation & extinction?. Time would not permit me to talk about David, Solomon, Nehemiah, Jacob, Moses, Abel, Esther, Elijah, Elisha , Our Lord Jesus, his disciples and apostles etc.

The Fantastic News for born again believers is that we operate by Superior Spiritual Intelligence (SSI) as the Good book declares “Christ is made unto us Wisdom -Spiritual Intelligence” 1 Corinthians 3:10.

Beloved, we cannot be categorised neither can the world decipher our intelligence because it is too high for the carnal mind. Hallelujah!! you are a benefactor of SPIRITUAL INTELLIGENCE, Walk in it.‪#‎TongueTalkingBillionaire‬

After the release of their first album in 2014, many thought that the Group would be coming out with Albums year after year however the group has remained quiet over the past years with little heard from them.

Speaking to the Music Director of the Ministry, Martinson Gyimah he said “It’s been two years since we released our first album which has been a blessing to the church in Ghana and overseas as a whole so this year we decided to bless God’s body with more inspired music ….but this time we are adding videos.”

The Extended Play, EP, is expected to feature songs such as “Odo yi” (this love), “Me som Wo (I will serve you), “He’s Moving” “Odo mmoroso (Abundant Love)” and a French composition, “J’ai besoin de toi” (I need You).

The songs were arranged and produced by E’mPraise Inc. Similarly the songs were led by E’mPraise’s lead icons, Eugene Zuta, Eld. Quesie Boate, Kobby Mantey, Rhema Body and others. The EP also features, Lord Listowell on Drums, Prince Senah on Bass, Prince Hakeem on Guitars, Charlie Keyz and Martinson Gyimah on Keyboards.

The Organizing Head of E’mPraise Inc. Kobby Mantey said “this EP will bring to finality the long posed question on when E’mPraise Inc. will come out with its own videos.”

Ahead of the group’s July 3 concert, the EP release is expected to warm contemporary Gospel music lovers into what to expect during this year’s Absolute Worship coming off at the Qodesh, North Kaneshie under the theme “One God One Nation.”

The MD of the group, Martinson Gyimah said “you will definitely love the originality, creativity, and ingenuity when you listen to this Extended Play. We trust that you will be impacted tremendously when you listen to it.

THINGS GOD DIDN’T SAY

Misconceptions of God can be costly because they can be very defeating.

For example, it’s worry to me how many people think “cleanliness is next to godliness” comes from the pages of Scripture. If this is indeed a word from God, then most pastors have every right to feel guilty that their houses are not always tidy. In fact, depending on how far you carry it, people soon become more concerned about their furniture than they do their family.

And what about “God helps those who help themselves”? I’ve seen this used as a basis for many people thinking they can work their way to heaven. They therefore miss the biblical teaching that eternal life is free (Romans 6:23).

In fact, I think you’d be wiser to give one Sunday to each of these things I’ll be sharing periodically. I assure you, they are so rampant that you could easily spend a 30-minute message discussing each one. Most unfortunately of all, every single one of them in some way adversely affects our outreach to non-Christians.

bigstock-Myth-stamp-63032431-700x467

  1. If you don’t know the date you were saved, then you are not saved.

Unfortunately, evangelists have been the worst at propagating this first misconception. The fact is, there is a split second when a person goes from darkness into light. After recognizing you’re a sinner and that Christ died for you and rose again, you place your trust in Him alone as your only way to heaven.

However, just because you don’t know when that particular split second was doesn’t mean you aren’t saved. When Scripture gives assurance of salvation, it doesn’t go back to a date or a moment; it goes back to a fact.

Who are you trusting right now? If you’re trusting Christ alone as your only way to heaven, you are saved, regardless of when you crossed the line. After all, John 3:16 does not say, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, and whoever believes in Him and knows the date should not perish but have everlasting life.”

This idea is critical, because if a person buys into this misconception, it’s a tremendous hindrance to their outreach for Christ. How can I talk to someone else about their salvation if I’m not entirely certain of my own?

True, some people come to Christ from a very sudden and dramatic experience, like the Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8:26-39; he could have easily given you the date. And there’s no doubt the same thing was true of Paul the Apostle in Acts 9:1-22, 26-28; I’m sure he not only could have given the date, but he could have testified of the specific hour he trusted the Savior. But there are those whose conversion is not as dramatic. They may have been raised in a Christian environment where Christ was spoken about frequently. Certainly, at some point in time, they came to clearly understand their sinful condition and trust Christ, but they may not know exactly when the moment occurred.

Minister deeply to your people and free them by telling them that as long as they’re trusting Christ alone, they are saved, regardless of when they crossed the line…
